Is there anything close to a Phoenix HP-22? There are guns like the Bersa Firstorm/Tunder 22 which everybody loves, but they're really fat guns that are nowhere near the same size as the Phoenix. There are guns like the Beretta 21 Bobcat and Jiminez JA-22LR, which are short guns that you'll never get your pinky on the grip. 22 LR that's similar to the Phoenix but actually will last. Even if I get it refinished every year, I just don't think an HP-22 is something that's going to hold up. OTOH, the Phoenix HP-22 is a fun little plinking gun, but it's a little too cheap. The PF-9 isn't exactly a "fun" gun to plink with all the time, but it's great to carry. Small, 1" thick single-stack pistols, a little under 6" long, but still tall enough that I can get a good grip on them with my whole hand. I love the size of the Kel-Tec PF-9 and the Phoenix Arms HP-22.
